Chinanews, Beijing, May 31 - Many fruit dealers in Beijing choose horse wagons to carry their goods, without realizing that they have caused great trouble to the city's traffic and hygiene.
A reporter of CCTV visited a local community, where parked a wagon of a fruit dealer, who earns 1,000 to 2,000 yuan every month. Residents of the community think the wagon can be a great convenience for they don't have to go to supermarkets outside the community.
However, the wagons hinder the traffic due to their slow speed. Sometimes, the drivers of such wagons flagrantly violate traffic rules. For example, the wagon mentioned above was seen once go in the wrong direction. All the buses, cars and other vehicles had to make way for it.
Most wagon drivers are very vigilant The reporter of CCTV tried to ask where they were from, who were their employers, etc., but couldn't worm any information out of them.
According to the traffic regulations, horse wagons must not enter the areas within the Third Ring Road, but the drivers of such wagons don't care at all.
